Cervera Klingsporn, 93, widow of Harold Klingsporn, died October 17, 2014 in College Station. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Zion Lutheran Church with Pastor Pat Lehrer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. Monday evening at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Cervera Klingsporn was born March 14, 1921 in Washington Co. to Rudolph and Mattie Kiel Korthauer. She was baptized June 19, 1921, and confirmed September 15, 1935 at St. Paul''s Lutheran Church of Rehburg. She attended area schools, and on August 28, 1949 she was married to Harold Klingsporn at St. Paul''s Lutheran Church of Rehburg. She was employed for many years at Sears, and later at Rau''s Meat Market. Survivors include her son, William James Klingsporn and fiancé Karen Siegel of Long Point; grandchildren: Meredith Kay Klingsporn of Houston and her fiancé Grant Alan Stuart, and William August Klingsporn, M.D., of Houston; nephew Terrance Terry Korthauer and his children April and Kurt Roemer, and their child, Reagan; Brittany Caldwell and her child Brynn; niece Grace Korthauer of Katy; nephew and niece Fred and Janice Rau, and their children: Stacy and Trey Hardy and children, Jenna, Leah, and Luke, and Dane and Melonie Rau and children Kade, Brady and Nate. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold Klingsporn, and brother, Milton Korthauer. Cervera was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Zionsville since 1950 where she was also involved in the Ladies Aid, Mary Martha Circle, Bluebonnet Club, and participated in the church choir for over 40 years. Other memberships included the Ladies Auxiliary of Burton American Legion Post #242, and the Burton Fireman''s Auxiliary. Serving as pallbearers are Joseph Trey Hardy, Steven Hohlt, Gregg Jones, Kenneth Ladewig, Dane Rau, Kurt Roemer, Robert Yoyo Scheel, and William Weegie Scheel. Honorary pallbearers are the Sears employees of the 1970''s. Memorials may be directed to Zion Lutheran Church of Zionsville.
