Virgil Feathers

Virgil Feathers, Sr., born Feb. 14, 1933, went to rest with our Lord on January 15, 2016.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Phillip Feathers and mother, Mary Jane Opiela, as well as brothers William Stanford Feathers, Samuel Gaston Feathers, daughter-in-law, Jackie Feathers, and grandson, Tommy Carruthers.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jacquelyn Ellen Feathers; children: Virgil Feathers, Jr., Wanda Mangum, Dorothy Dunsworth, John Feathers, Phillip Feathers, Mark Feathers, and Matthew Feathers.

Virgil and Jacquelyn were blessed to have 19 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Virgil was confirmed in the Catholic Church as a youth, and was a faithful believer in Jesus Christ.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Virgil''s life is planned for family and friends from 12 until 4 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016 at Woodman Life Camp, 5193 Hwy. 36 North, Bellville, Tx. (12 miles south of Brenham.)
