Shelly Hickman

Shelly Hickman, 53, passed away on January 4, 2021 due to ongoing health complications. She was born and grew up in Houston, Texas. Shelly had dealt with health problems for many years, but she was a fighter and she never gave up. Shelly had been married for 34 years to husband James. She was devoted and supportive to her family, who she loved more than anything in this world. Her surviving loving family includes: husband James; Dad Jimmie Kowis, Brother Chris Kowis; Children Chelsea Nuelle and Justin Hickman; grandchildren, Dalton Francis, Sadie Nuelle, Haiden Hickman, and Gunnar Hickman. Although we grieve her loss, we are comforted by the fact that Shelly is in Heaven enjoying time with her Mom Carrol Kowis and her grandson Payden Francis who precede her in death. She was also preceded by her mother-in-law and father-in-law, William Earl Hickman or Mattie Ruth Hickman.

During the tough times in life, Shelly was comforted by her faith in Christ. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16

In accordance with Shelly's wishes, no public services are being held.
