Agnes Marie Kubeczka, 89, of Brenham, died Nov. 2, 2013 in High Hope Care Center. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m., Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at St. Mary''s Catholic Church, with Father Ernesto Elizondo, Officiant. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday evening at Memorial Oaks Chapel, with a Rosary at 7 p.m. Agnes Kubeczka was born Oct. 9, 1924 in Chappell Hill to John T. and Katie Mikolajewski Kubeczka. She was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic faith at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Chappell Hill, and lived her entire life in Washington County. Agnes shared a home with her parents, and lovingly took care of them over the years, as well as being a favorite babysitter for her nieces and nephews. Survivors include brothers Harry Kubezka and Natalie Adler, Johnnie Kubeczka and wife Ruby, and Antone Kubeczka and wife Carolyn, all of Brenham; a sister, Sophie Levandowski and husband Leon of Hempstead, and a sister-in-law, Harriett Grebe, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Preceding her in death were her parents; brothers, Mike Kubeczka and Alois Kubeczka; sisters and brothers-in-law, Stella and Louis Kmiec, and Sarah and Leonard Dismukes, and a sister, Caroline Heise. Her nephews will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be directed to St. Mary''s Catholic Church or Hospice Brazos Valley. The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of High Hope Care Center and Hospice Brazos Valley for their excellent care of Agnes.
