Alice Korthauer

Alice Finke Korthauer, 85, of Burton, died Friday at the family residence. Mrs. Korthauer was born January 1, 1918 in Brenham, TX., to Fritz and Alma Grebe Finke. She was baptized March 24, 1918 in St. John s Lutheran Church of Prairie Hill and was confirmed April 9, 1933 in St. John s Lutheran Church of Prairie Hill. Mrs. Korthauer attended Live Oak Hill School. On June 18, 1949 she married Milton Korthauer in St. John s Lutheran Church of Prairie Hill. Mrs. Korthauer was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Rehburg. Survivors include her son Terry Korthauer of Burton, daughters; Grace Korthauer of Houston, granddaughters April and spouse Kurt Roemer of Burton and Brittany Korthauer of Burton, and sister-in-law Cevera Klingsporn. She was preceded in death by her husband Milton Korthauer and one brother. The funeral service for Alice Finke Korthauer will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday in St. Paul Lutheran Church of Rehburg with Pastor Larry Henrichs officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday in Foehner Funeral Home in Burton. Pallbearers will be Keith McGill, Donald Broescher, Michael Blakey, David Blakey, David Blakey, Jr., Gerald Wiegelt, and James Schulenburg.
