Alice Landgraf of Brenham, the widow of Eddie Landgraf, died in the Gazebo Terrace Convalescent Center in Brenham Saturday morning, January 21, 2012. Alice was born on December 23, 1920 to Henry and Henriette Reddehase Fischer in Washington County. Alice was baptized on February 20, 1921 in Prairie Hill, Texas. She was confirmed on Oct 25, 1936 by Reverend Carl A. Stadler at Friedens Evangelical Church of Gay Hill. She received her education in Washington County and at Blinn College. On May 6, 1945, Alice was married to Eddie Landgraf at Friedens Evangelical Church by the Rev. Paul Piepenbrok. Alice was a licensed vocational nurse and a loving homemaker. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church over 50 years, American Legion Auxiliary for 50 years and V.F.W. Auxiliary for 50 years. She is survived by sons and daughter-in-law, Dennis Landgraf of Dallas and Dr. Kenneth and Judy Landgraf of Brenham; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-laws, Lonnie and Leona Landgraf of Brenham and Alfred and Ivylee Landgraf of Pasadena; grandchildren, Charlie Kriegel, Kelly and John Wall, Ben and Margrett Landgraf, Misha Harris and Tonya Keith; and great-grandchildren, Christina Kriegel and Cale and Reagan Wall. She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 brother-in-law, Gilbert Kankel; 2 brothers, Fred Fischer and William "Bill" Fischer; and 1 sister-in-law, Elsie Kelm Fischer. Private graveside services were held today, Jan. 23, at Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham with Pastor Matthew Jacobs officiating. Memorials may be given to Grace Lutheran Church of Brenham,
