Alice Limmer

Alice Rebecca Limmer, 73, of Burton, wife of Lloyd Limmer, Sr., passed away December 23, 2010 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 27, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at the Wesley Brethren Church. Pastor Michael Groseclose will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation with family present will take place Sunday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Born October 23, 1937 in Orange, Texas to Howard and Murray Butler Biscamp, she was married to Lloyd Limmer in Galena Park on June 20, 1956. Alice was a long-time employee of Pedigo Furniture Co. in Livingston, and was later employed by Schleider Furniture Store for a number of years. A homemaker, she was also a member of Wesley Brethren Church. Survivors include her husband, Lloyd D. Limmer, Sr.; son and daughter-in-law Lloyd Jr. and Kim Limmer of Burton; daughter Joy Sandell of Burton; sisters and brother-in-law Lucy and Johnny Whitney of Crosby, and Sue and Harry Tatterson of Fairmont, West Virginia; grandchildren Mallory Ehlert and husband Matt, Maegan Alyce Limmer, Crystal Limmer, Keith Phillips, Bryan Hartmann, James Hart, and great-grandchildren Sammie Rhine and Madison Jones. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter. Her grandsons and friends will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society or to Hospice Brazos Valley.
