Allyne Boehnemann

Allyne Lydia Boehnemann, 85, of Burton, passed away June 14, 2011 in Scott and White Hospital in Brenham. Allyne Boehnemann was born December 16, 1925 in Burton to Carl and Lydia Stark Boehnemann. She was baptized and later confirmed in Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Greenvine. After attending area schools, she was employed as an office manager for Britannica encyclopedias. Survivors include a sister-in-law, Lorena Boehnemann of Burton; nieces and nephews: Ronnie and Tracie Boehnemann, Leslie and Jane Boehnemann, Roy and Linda Boehnemann, Delores and Frank Christian, Joyce and Keith Burns, as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Lydia Boehnemann; brothers: Leslie, Herbert, and Carl Boehnemann, Jr.; sisters: Esther Boehnemann, Emerine Scroggins, and Vera Lockstedt. Funeral services for Allyne Lydia Boehnemann are scheduled for 2 p.m., June 19, 2011 in Emmanual Lutheran Church of Greenvine, with Pastor Rich Nelson officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Oaks Cemetery in Houston. Visitation will be held Saturday evening from 5 until 7 p.m. at Foehner Funeral Home in Burton.
