Almeida Hinze

Almeida Rosenbaum Hinze, 92, of Brenham, the widow of Herbert Hinze, died April 25, 2012 in Bluebonnet Hills Care Center in Brenham. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 28 at St. Paul''s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Brenham with Pastors Phil Fenton and Kinndlee Lund officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 27 at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Mrs. Hinze was born March 24, 1920 in Industry, TX to William and Emma Dipple Rosenbaum. She was baptized Oct. 17, 1920 at Industry Lutheran Church and was confirmed Feb. 27, 1949 at Salem Lutheran Church of Welcome by Rev. W. Wolf. On Nov. 14, 1935, she was married to Herbert Hinze in St. James Lutheran Church of New Wehdem by Rev. R.A. Schmidt. Mrs. Hinze was a member of St. Paul''s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Brenham. She worked at Schulze Bakery for 27 years and enjoyed baking, watching birds and working with flowers. Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Ruth and Edward Schulte, May Dell Kuhlmann and Dorothy Hahn; grandchildren, Deborah and Roger Gaskamp, Cynthia and Glenn Flentge, Kevin Schulte and Keith and Patricia Kuhlmann; great-grandchildren, Brent Gaskamp, Leticia Gaskamp, Shelia and Daniel Lee, Craig Flentge, Brad Flentge, Chelsea Kuhlmann and Megan Schulte; three step great-great-granddaughters; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, RosaLee Sommerfield, Jo Addicks and Pablo Marin. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sons-in-law Harold Kuhlmann and Floyd Hahn, four sisters and six brothers. Pallbearers will be Roger Gaskamp, Glenn Flentge, Keith Kuhlmann, Kevin Schulte, Jason Jaster and Franklin Schroeder. All great-grandchildren will be considered honorary pallbearers. Memorials may be given to St. Paul''s TV and Radio Ministry. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main St., in Brenham.
