Alois Lockstedt

Alois John Lockstedt, 45, of Brenham, died Jan. 19, 2005, at Brenham State School. Mr. Lockstedt was born August 14, 1959, in Houston, TX, to Carol John and Genevieve Machalec Lockstedt. He was baptized in St. Christopher s Church in Houston on Aug. 14, 1959. Survivors include his mother, Genevieve Lockstedt of Katy; brother, Alan Lockstedt of Magnolia; sisters, Annette Minikus, Alane Beekman of Katy and Arlene Lockstedt of Houston; and grandmother, Louise Machalec of Moulton. He was preceded in death by his father. The body will lie in state at the church beginning at 11:00 a.m. The funeral Mass will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, Jan. 24 in St. Mary s Catholic Church in Praha with Father Edward Barsch, celebrant. Burial will be in St. Mary s Catholic Church Cemetery in Praha. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main St., in Brenham.
