Alvin Dippel

At the age of 88, Alvin V. Dippel passed away at his home in Brenham, TX on January 27. Born in Brenham to Walter and Elsa Dippel, Al is survived by four sisters, Jan, Bernice, Delores and Elaine; two of his children, Greg and Cynthia Dippel; and 4 grandchildren.

Al served his country as SFC in the 179th Infantry, awarded a bronze star for service in Korea.

A CPA by trade, he was a hard working man, dedicated to anything he sought to accomplish. Al was an avid mariner and fisherman, spending much of his time boating in Kemah. His best companions were Pepper and Lady and they served him well.

Celebration of Life to be held, February 25th, 11:30 am, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Brenham, Tx. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
