Anita Quebe Dallmeyer, 90, widow of Walter Dallmeyer, died November 18, 2008 in Trinity Medical Center. Mrs. Dallmeyer was born April 23, 1918 in Buckholts, Milam County, Texas to Charlie and Olga Kuehn Quebe. She was baptized June 18, 1918 in Hope Lutheran Church of Buckholtz by Rev. H. E. Daude, and confirmed April 9, 1923 in St. John Evangelical Church of Burton by Rev. Adolph Walton. She was educated in Burton schools. On December 25, 1942, she was married to Walter Dallmeyer in St. John Evangelical Church of Burton by Rev. Paul Kniker. Mrs. Dallmeyer was employed for 31 years by Fieldcrest Farms. Survivors include a daughter, Mary Luera of Brenham; sons and daughters-in-law Herbert and Nina Dallmeyer of Carmine; Billy and Lois Dallmeyer of Ledbetter; Marvin and Betty Dallmeyer and Melvin and Frieda Dallmeyer, all of Round Top; 10 grandchildren: Melvin Dallmeyer, Jr. and wife Sara of Poth, Tx; Russell Dallmeyer and wife Hope of Round Top; Jennifer Dallmeyer Golen and husband Heath of La Grange; Michael Dallmeyer and wife Shannen of Ledbetter; Amber Dallmeyer and friend Keith Schnell of Ledbetter; Loretta Luera Hawkins and husband Shawn of Brenham; Lori Dallmeyer and friend Greg Swonke of Ledbetter; Lance Dallmeyer of Houston; Larry Dallmeyer and wife Kristi of Hockley; Filbert Luera, Jr. of Brenham; Bradley and Mark Dallmeyer deceased also surviving are twelve great-grandchildren: Claire, Hayden, and Preston Dallmeyer; Bailey, Ty, and Brayden Dallmeyer; Corey and Ashlynn Golan; Luke and Emme Dallmeyer; Riley and Paige Hawkins. Also surviving is sister-in-law Hattie Dallmeyer of Brenham; brother-in-law, Ervin Ganske of Brenham, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Walter Dallmeyer on October 31, 1982; a son, two grandsons, two sisters, two brothers, five sisters-in-law, and two brothers-in-law. Funeral services for Anita Dallmeyer will be held Thursday, November 20, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at St. John United Church of Christ in Burton with Pastor Glen Schoeneberg and Pastor Greg Felder officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation with family and friends will take place Wednesday evening form 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Foehner Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers are Melvin Dallmeyer, Jr., Russell Dallmeyer, Michael Dallmeyer, Lance Dallmeyer, Larry Dallmeyer, Filbert Luera, Jr., Heath Golan, Shawn Hawkins, Keith Schnell, and Greg Swonke. Memorials may be directed to St. John United Church of Christ Cemetery Fund, or to a charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Foehner Funeral Home of Burton.
