It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden, untimely death of Anita Louise Goodrich, a loving mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, cousin, and friend. Anita was a woman who dedicated her life to caring for her family, friends, and other people that she did not even know. Anita was called to be with our Lord and Savior on Monday, January 22, 2024. She was 59 years old.

Anita was born on July 29th, 1964 in Kansas City, Missouri to her parents Frank Edwin and Mary Louise Goodrich. Anita was predeceased by her father, Frank Edwin Goodrich. She is survived by her mother Mary Louise Goodrich, two children, Christopher Alan Goodrich and Anitra Naomi Thomas; sister, Vicki Rae Moore; stepson, Zachary Dewayne Thomas; grandchildren, Keon Tyree Davis, Jr and Kinsley Reign Davis, and numerous nieces/nephews, cousins, aunts/uncles and friends.

Anita's caring spirting, unwavering support, and boundless love will forever live on in the hearts of her children and family. Anita dedicated her life to helping others, as demonstrated by the excellence shown in her careers as a Certified Nurse Aide and as a hairstylist after completing her study in cosmetology school. Anita's colleagues and friends remember her to have a vibrant sense of humor and dedicated to her line of work.

A memorial service to celebrate Anita Louise Goodrich's life will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, January 31st, 2024 at the First United Methodist Church in Brenham. Flowers may be donated in celebration of Anita's life.
