Anna Gertrude Burton Mohr, 75, wife of Roger Mohr, of Washington, Texas passed away August 26, 2008 in College Station Medical Center in College Station. Mrs. Mohr was born July 17, 1933 in Holly Corner, Virginia to Archie Lee and Mary Margaret Remmuls Burton. She was baptized in the Baptist faith in 1949. She married Roger Mohr in Frieden Church of Christ in Cibolo, Texas by Rev. Henning. Anna was an LVN retired. Survivors include her husband, Roger Mohr of Washington, TX.; sons and daughters-in-law Roger Alan and Shirley Mohr of Cibolo, Texas; Sonny and Sue Elley of Elmendorf Texas, and Joey and Diane Elley of San Antonio; daughters and sons-in-law Cindy Lee and Roger Preacher of LaVernia, Tx.; Cindy James and Tom Harmon of Alamo Heights, and Sandra Ann and Greg McCraw of Panama City Beach, Florida; grandchildren: Tommy and Julie Daniels, Serena and Kyle Hooper, Christina Seed, Trey Elley, Blaine Elley, Cassie James, Stephanie James, Dustin McCraw, Clinton and Kristiana Darby McCraw; Fallon Foret, Brook Foret, Vincent, Robert, and James Calcagno; great-grandchildren: Vanessa Hooper, Samray Hooper, Paydon Hooper, Sierra and Charlie Seed, Colin and Annica Daniels, and Collin Riley McCraw; brothers and sisters-in-law Charles Lee and Nancy Burton of North Carolina.; Marline L. and Diane Hassin of York, Pa.; sisters Delores V.. Talbert of Spotslvania, Va. And Catherine G. Flarethy of Fredericksburg, Va. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; nieces Nanie Flarethy and Mary Ann Flarethy, and a nephew, Brian Burton. Funeral services for Anna Gertrude Mohr will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 29, 2008 in Friedens United Church of Christ in Washington, with Rev. Ron Trimmer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will be receiving friends and relatives at Memorial Oaks Chapel from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Serving as pallbearers are Tommy Daniels, Trey Elley, Blaine Elley, Robie Burton, Christina Seed, Serena Hooper, David Lanham, and Gary Layton. Honorary pallbearers will be Dustin and Clinton McCraw.
