Anne Dallmeyer

Anne Louise Dallmeyer, 87, formerly of Burton, died on October 13, 2015, in Brenham Nursing and Rehab. She was the widow of Leon Dallmeyer. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul''s Lutheran Church of Rehburg with Pastor Glenn Schoeneberg officiating. Burial will be held in the Church Cemetery. Visitation with the family and friends will be prior to the service at 1:00 p.m. Anne was born on September 11, 1928 to Oswald John and Caroline Nuestedt Mayer in Waller, Waller County, TX. Anne was baptized on Feb. 11, 1945 by Pastor Wolber in Waller, TX. She attended Waller Schools and Blinn College. On June 11, 1950 Anne was married to Leon Dallmeyer in Rehburg by Pastor Weber. Anne was a member of St. Paul''s Lutheran Church of Rehburg and the ELCW, Ladies Circle. Anne loved to do yard work and gardening, especially her flowers. She also enjoyed sewing and decorating for the church. Anne loved to play cards and dominoes with the ladies in Carmine and Burton. Anne is survived by nieces and nephews: Gloria and Tony Foltin of Hockley, Ronnie and Margaret Mayer of Waller, and William and Kathy Mayer of Houston; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Leon Dallmeyer, brother John Henry Mayer, sister-in-law Elverna Mayer, niece Sharon Mayer Martin, and great-niece LaTania Hill Martin. Serving as pallbearers are Tony Foltin, Ronnie Mayer, William Mayer, Wilburn Goldberg, Glenwood Prenzler, Wayne Mayer and Hunter Willis. Honorary pallbearers are John Mayer, Bailey Mayer, Micah John Martin, and Joey Bruhn.
