Annie Lange

Annie "Ann" Dora Swanson Lange, 92, of Brenham, widow of Charles F. Lange, died December 7, 2010 in Kruse Memorial Village. Ann was born January 27, 1918 in El Campo, Texas to Otto and Myrtle Tucker Swanson. She was a very kind, caring person, friendly to everyone. She always made it a point to say "thank you". A spunky yet gentle lady, she especially loved to travel. Surviving is her sister, Isabel Lay, and grandchildren Carl, Donna and Kerry, as well as three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. Lange, her parents Otto and Myrtle Swanson, two sons, Bruce N. Sherdin and Crl W. Sherdin; brother, Carl Swanson, and sister, Mary Coffey. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel, with Rev. Larry Idaker officiating. Burial will take place at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Garden of Memories Cemetery in El Campo. The family will receive friends and relatives Friday evening at Memorial Oaks Chapel from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the Burton Baptist Church, 920 N. Colorado, Burton, Tx. 77835. The family would like to thank the caregivers at LaRoche Assisted Living Center, Tiaden Unit and administration at Kruse Memorial Village.
