Arjean Woods

Arjean B. Woods, 73, wife of Willis Woods, died November 3, 2010 in Christus Dubuis Hospital in Bryan. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, November 5, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel with Pastor Philip Fenton officiating. Burial will follow in Prairie Lea Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Arjean was born September 24, 1937 in Greenvine, Texas to William Bernshausen and Ada Heins Bernshausen. A 1955 graduate of Brenham High School, she married Willis Woods in Lampasas, Tx. on December 14, 1996. Arjean worked for Ziesemer Gulf Oil Co. for a number of years, and was then employed by the Texas Dept. of Agriculture. Later, she worked as an admittance clerk for Trinity Medical Center, having worked for St. Jude Hospital before it became Trinity Medical Center. Survivors include her husband, Willis Woods of Brenham; son Duane Grabarschick of Round Rock; daughter Terri Jean Fletcher of Cedar Park; grandchildren: Ashley Wilson-Vo of Virginia Beach, Virginia; Kyle Wilson of Austin, and Brittney Woods of Friendswood; step-son and daughter-in-law Michael and Brenda Woods of Friendswood; brother and sister-in-law William and Sue Bernshausen of Riverside, California, and sister-in-law Elizabeth Bernshausen of Brenham. Preceding her in death were her parents and a brother, Rogers Bernshausen. Serving as pallbearers are Bret Coghlan, William Schawe, J. R. Allen, Carl Huffman, Don Mitzenmayer, and Al Gomez. Honorary pallbearers will be Bret Schroeder, Larry Schroeder, Scott Schroeder, Greg Barton, and Trey Allen. Memorials may be directed to St. Paul''s Christian Day School.
