Bubba Dreyer was an active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Wiedeville and within the Brenham Community throughout his life. He worked as a lineman for Bluebonnet Electric Co-Op for 30+ years. After retirement, he worked for 4 County Auction Barn for 10 years, and his latest adventure was as a scale hand at Cattleman’s Brenham Livestock Auction where he would spend countless hours and left a void that can’t be filled. His Sundays for many years in the past were filled with spending time with his grandchildren and family. If he was here today he would tell you that was the most important thing in his life. Each Sunday would be filled with football, family and last but not least his famous BBQ sauce and deviled eggs. Sundays won’t be the same without him there, but we can’t imagine one going by without mentioning his name. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Bubba Dreyer, knew that he always had a story to tell and a couple of jokes to crack. We’re going to miss those jokes and stories, but luckily, we have all heard them a million times, so we can’t forget them.
Pallbearers include; Amanda Dreyer, Andrea, Nick and Hayes Dykes, Dickson, Pearson, Sullivan and Taylor Garnett, Tatum Westerfeld and Justin Lackey, Gracie Westerfeld and Chance Winklemann, Teddy Hoffman, Spencer Flynn and Chloe Hamilton, Oliver Flynn and Chloe Kent, Lucas Flynn, Andrew Malloch, and Glen Goodwin. Honorary Pallbearers include; Bubba’s coworkers at Bluebonnet Electric Co-Op and his Cattleman’s Brenham Livestock Auction Family.
