Barbara J. Schwartz, 68, of Brenham, wife of Roy Schwartz, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018 in Brenham.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m., Friday, March 9 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church of William Penn. Rev. Moldenhauer will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main, Brenham.
Barbara Jean Schwartz was born March 2, 1950 in Brenham to August and Hilda Mueller Randermann. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Matthew Lutheran Church of Sandy Hill. On March 3, 1973, she was married to Roy Schwartz. Barbara was employed at Southwestern Bell and AT&T, and also worked at Kruse Village. Her last employment was with Walmart in Brenham. She was also a member of the Pioneer Club.
Barbara was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, where she served as a Sunday School teacher. An avid Dallas Cowboys fan, she also loved to shop. Crocheting was also a favorite hobby. She especially treasured time spent with her family.
Survivors include her husband, Roy Schwartz of Brenham; sons and daughters-in-law, Jamie and Sharon Schwartz of Brenham, and Cody and Kayce Schwartz of Brenham; daughter, Crystal Schwartz of Charleston, S.C.; brothers Carl Randermann of Mt. Pleasant, and David Randermann of College Station; brother and sister-in-law Gary and Marlene Randermann of Brenham; sisters and brothers-in-law Rhetta and Randy Holub of Hockley, Gloria and Frank Caro of Homestead, FL., and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Artie and Karlton Klussmann of Brenham; grandchildren: Gracie Irene, Jolie Renee, Alexis Jean, Benjamin Thomas, and Madeleine Ann Grace. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, August and Hilda Randermann, and a brother, Ralph Randermann.
Serving as pallbearers are Jason Drews, Robert Estrada, Troy Klussmann, Justin Randermann, Lance Searle, and Art Senteno.
