Bennie Pfeiffer

Bennie Emil Pfeiffer, 98, of West Point TX, died on September 30, 2016 in Care Inn of LaGrange. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 3, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel with Pastor John David Nedbalek officiating. Interment will follow in the Shelby Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Oaks Chapel .

Bennie Pfeiffer was born on July 30, 1918 to Hermann Karl Pfeiffer Jr. and Alwine Dunkel Pfeiffer in Shelby TX. On November 2, 1940, Bennie married Bertha Merkel. Bennie was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Round Top and life-long member of Harmony Hall in Shelby. Bennie loved to play a good game of dominoes.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Odis H. Pfeiffer and wife Peggy; grandsons, Odis Pfeiffer II and wife Stacie, Steven Pfeiffer and wife Ronda; granddaughter, Angelina Patrick and husband Rick; great-grandchildren, Brady Pfeiffer, Tyler Pfeiffer, Calen Pfeiffer, Dylan Partin, and Mariah Patrick; and great-great granddaughter, Karlie Partin.

Bennie was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Charlie Pfeiffer and wife Elsie, George Pfeiffer and wife Edith, Bruno Pfeiffer and wife Thelka, Alex Pfeiffer and wife Mamie; sister, Ranie Mertz and husband Alfred; and son, Bennie Pfeiffer, Jr.

Pallbearers include Odis Pfeiffer II, Steven Pfeiffer, Dylan Partin, Hubert Bednaz, Sue Pfeiffer Burk, and Jeanette Schoenst.
