Bernell Dimoush

Bernell Louise Dimoush, wife of Carl Dimoush, died December 28, 2017 in Bryan.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church of William Penn. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will begin 8 a.m., Monday, January 1, 2018.

Bernell Dimoush was born February 21, 1931 in the William Penn community of Washington County to Willie and Millie Pohlmeyer Schroeder. She was baptized and confirmed at Bethlehem Lutheran Church of William Penn. She was educated in area schools, and attended Blinn College.

On September 19, 1999, she married Carl Dimoush at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Houston. She was retired after 32 years of employment with the Prudential Insurance Co., where she worked as a supervisor of underwriting. She was a member of the Houston Orchid Society. Bernell, along with her husband, grew orchids for over 32 years. A talented floral designer, her orchid arrangements were present at many weddings and other events.

Survivors include her husband, Carl Dimoush, and a brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Elvera Schroeder. She was predeceased by brothers, Dover Schroeder and Glifford Schroeder, a sister, Audrey Kennedy, and her parents.

Memorials may be directed to Bethlehem Lutheran Church of William Penn.
