Bernita Adkison

Bernita Prigge Adkison, 88, born August 30, 1922, passed away peacefully in her sleep, on May 10, 2011 in League City. Graveside services will take place in Prairie Lea Cemetery, Monday, May 16, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. Survivors include sons David Adkison and Leonard Adkison; brother Willie Prigge; sisters Myrtle Johnson, Edna Roehling, and Evelyn Buck and husband David; sister-in-law Erma Luetge; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as a special cousin, Ruth Ellis. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willie Prigge; son Joseph Allen Adkison; and daughter, Gayle Elaine Jessop.
