Betty Ann Folsom, 76, of Brenham, passed away on October 25, 2015, at her residence. A graveside service for Betty Ann Folsom will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 28, at National Cemetery at Nelsonville, with Pastor Michael Groseclose officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 27 at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Betty Ann Mikeska Folsom was born on March 6, 1939, in Bleiblerville, TX to Edmund and Lillie Dierking Mikeska. Betty was baptized on April 9, 1939, by the late Pastor Joseph Barton at Nelsonville Brethren Church and was confirmed on July 31, 1955, also by the late Pastor Joseph Barton. Betty Ann was united in holy matrimony with Paul C. Folsom on December 22, 1957 in the Houston Brethren Church in Houston, TX, by the late Rev. Daniel J. Marek. The Lord blessed this union with a daughter and a son. They made their home in Houston and later moved to Brenham, TX, and they joined the Nelsonville Brethren Church. Betty Folsom retired after many years in the banking industry in Brenham. Survivors include daughter Paula Page, son Stephen Folsom and wife Becky Folsom, all of Brenham; grandchildren Megan Kelm and husband Ryan, Timothy C. Page, Jr. and wife Elisabeth, Brent Folsom and special friend Jenny Bilski, Bryan Folsom and wife Haley, and Bradley Folsom and special friend Jenna Krebs; and great-grandchildren, Reece Kelm, Makenna Kelm, Cyler Page and Hunter Folsom. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Paul Folsom, her parents, mother-in-law and father-in-law, brother and sister-in-law, and brother-in-law. Serving as pallbearers are Ryan Kelm, Corey Page, Brent Folsom, Bryan Folsom, Bradley Folsom and Michael Parks. Honorary pallbearers are Reece Kelm, Cyler Page, Hunter Folsom, Megan Kelm and Makenna Kelm. The family would like to thank Hospice Brazos Valley and AMA Home Care for the loving care that they provided for their mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
