Betty Lou Winkelmann, 75, passed away on July 29, 2019 in College Station, TX. A visitation will be held at Memorial Oaks Chapel Thursday, August 1st at 5pm – 7pm.

Betty Winkelmann was born on February 20, 1944 in Houston, TX to Thomas G. and Jimmie Clark. She married Fred Winkelmann on March 8, 1963. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and so much more to everyone in her family. Betty was full of spunk and loved keeping Fred on his toes. She loved spending time outdoors, cooking, painting, trips to the casino, and cracking jokes whenever she could. She also loved spending time at the farm with the family and Jenny.

Survivors include husband, Fred Winkelmann; son Will Winkelmann and Alisa Niemeyer; daughter Michelle Matthews and husband Tommy; daughter, Renee Jozwiak and husband JJ; daughter, Rebecca VanMeeteren and husband, Lorin (Van) VanMeeteren. Sister-in-laws Ann Lee Russell and Elaine Clark; brother-in-law Norman Winkelmann and wife, Alana. Grandchildren; Rhonda Matthews, TJ and Shannon Matthews, Justin and Ashley Robinett, Kristopher and Brittany Eckert, Brendon and Kaci Deeren, Jacob Jozwiak, Chance Winkelmann and Gracie Westerfeld, Hunter Winkelmann, Sadie Winkelmann, Adrie Niemeyer, Haylie Niemeyer, Colt Niemeyer, Zyah Walls, Page VanMeeteren, Glenn VanMeeteren. Great grandchildren; Hailee Matthews, Hannah Matthews, Jaice Jones, Trevin Matthews, Aiden Matthews, Liam Matthews, Alora Robinett, Adam Eckert. Great-great grandchild; Braelynn Matthews. Special friend, Geneva Kallie. Numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by; parents, Thomas G. and Jimmie Clark; stepfather, Roland R. McNiel; brother, Tom Clark; in-laws, William S. and Norma Winkelmann; great grandson, Hayden Jones.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
