Betty Marie Wolfenberger, 78, of Brenham, TX, died on March 25, 2022 in Houston, TX.
Betty was born on August 4, 1943 in Brenham, TX to Reinhart Henry and Hildagarde Lehmann Wieghat. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church of Prairie Hill. She married her husband, Charles Woodie Wolfenberger, on November 20, 1960. She was self employed working in the construction industry.
Betty was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Wiedeville and she attended Brenham High School. She loved to travel, dance, and her animals, especially her horse. Betty was a people’s person. She was a great companion to Woody and loved her family very much. Her grandchildren played a very important role in her life.
Betty is survived by her husband, Woodie Wolfenberger of Brenham, TX; son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie Charles Wolfenberger and wife Julie of Magnolia, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Sandra Audine Baldwin and husband Allen of Conroe, TX; grandchildren, Justin Malmay of Conroe, TX, Clifton Malmay of Conroe, TX, Taylor Wolfenberger of Magnolia, TX, and Maddison Paige Wolfenberger of Magnolia, TX; and great-grandchild, Pierceston Malmay of Conroe, TX., and brother-in-law, Billy Wellmann.
She is preceded in death by her brothers, R.H. Wieghat Jr., and Donald Gene Wieghat; and sister, Rose Ann Wellmann.
