Beverly Maddox

Beverly Ann Maddox, 67, of Houston, died Aug. 10, 2006, at her residence. Mrs. Maddox was born June 13, 1939, in Brenham, Texas, to Hubert L. Jack and Viola Schultz Henslee. She was a member of Christian Victory Center in Houston, Texas. She was a graduate of Brenham High School. She was active in the Maifest celebration for many years. Mrs. Maddox had a lengthy career as a licensed realtor and loved her work very much. She was artistic, enjoying painting and playing music. Survivors include her son, Craig Maddox of Houston; one sister, Karen Meier and husband Neill Meier; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 19 at Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham. Burial will be in the Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham. Memorials may be given in any fashion, any place in her name or in His name. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main St., in Brenham.
