Billie Stegmann

Billie H. Stegmann, 59, of Brenham, died January 8, 2004, in Trinity Medical Center in Brenham. Mr. Stegmann was born October 21, 1944, in Brenham, Texas, the son of Otto Sr. and Lillie Gajeske Stegmann. He was baptized in Zion Lutheran Church of Zionsville by Rev. R.J. Weber and was confirmed in the same church. Mr. Stegmann was a 1963 graduate of Brenham High School and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Zionsville. He was a carpenter and farmer. Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, Otto Jr. and Dorothy Stegmann of Chappell Hill; and nieces and nephews, Bonnie Jean Stegmann, Ryan and Terry Stegmann and Barbara Jean Stegmann. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a half sister. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 10 at Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery in Zionsville with Pastor David Hall officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9 in Memorial Oaks Chapel. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main St., in Brenham.
