Billy Hegemeyer

Billy Jean Hegemeyer, 77, of Brenham, wife of Roger Hegemeyer, died on December 25, 2011. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the Memorial Oaks Chapel on December 28, 2011, with Steve Westbrooke and Doug Collins officiating, interment will follow at the Pilgrim Rest Cemetery in Industry. The family will receive friends and relatives at Memorial Oaks Chapel from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday December 27. Billy Jean was born on Feb 6, 1934 in Berlin, TX to W.H. and Betty Jo Fisher McKeown. On April 5, 1951 Billy Jean married Roger Hegemeyer in Welcome, TX. She worked for many years at the Felcher Bakery as a clerk. She loved to play cards and dominoes. Billy Jean loved to be with family and friends at family gatherings and especially if there was BBQ being served. Survivors include her husband Roger Hegemeyer, son and daughter-in-law Donald and Faye Hegemeyer of Brenham, sister-in-law Jozel McKeown of Bellville, TX. and numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers and 3 sisters.
