Billy Keeton

Billy Joe Keeton, 68, of Brenham, the husband of Linda Keeton, died on March 12, 2016. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel with Pastor Ray Payne officiating. A graveside service will be held at Waller Cemetery at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. Visitation will be from 6:00 -8:00 p.m. Monday at Memorial Oaks Chapel.

Billy was born on April 22, 1947 to Joe Bailey and Louise Christine Harmes Keeton. On November 26, 1966, Billy married the love of his life Linda Oliver. He was baptized on November 14, 2004. Billy worked for Lubrizol Corp, where he formed life long friendships. He was a very competitive person, loved sports, but his family was the most important thing in his life. Billy was a man''s-man blessed with 3 daughters. He had a passion for woodworking. Billy loved being outside working in his garden and taking care of his trees.

Survivors include his wife Linda Keeton, daughters and sons-in-law: Kimberly Ann Frazier of Plano, TX., Lisa Michelle Carter and husband Kevin of Royse City TX., and Angela Kay Poston and husband Marc of La Porte, TX., brothers and sisters-in-law: Doy and Linda Keeton of Brenham, Tommy and Susan Keeton of Dickinson, TX., and Gary Keeton and Sherri Hodges of Independence TX., sister: Margaret Mallard of Burton, grandchildren: Zachary Carter, Sean Poston Jr., Colton Carter, Mackenzie Frazier, Morgan Poston and Hayden Frazier, other relatives: Jeffrey and Ruby Counts, Bonnie Rushing, Oscar and Carol Oliver, and numerous nephews and nieces.

Billy was preceded in death by his mother and father and mother-in-law and father-in-law.

Serving as pallbearers are: Zachary Carter, Colton Carter, Sean Poston, Hayden Frazier, Ryan Lawhun, Taylor Lawhun, and Trey Lawhun.

Memorial may be given to American Diabetes Association.
