Bonnie Mcadams

Bonnie McAdams went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on April 1, 2019. While we mourn our loss, we are grateful knowing Mother is without pain for the first time in many, many years and rejoicing with her loved ones in Heaven.

Bonnie Faye Niemeyer McAdams was born June 21, 1935 to Willie F. and Hattie Luedke Niemeyer. She was baptized on August 11, 1935 at First Lutheran Church in Somerville, Texas, and confirmed April 2, 1950 by Rev. Theo. R. Streng at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Brenham.

Mrs. McAdams was educated in the Brenham School District and graduated from Brenham High School. She was also a student at Blinn College and Sam Houston State University. On December 23, 1955, Bonnie married William V. McAdams, Jr. at Greens Bayou Baptist Church in Houston, Texas by William R. Taylor.

Survivors include her husband William V. McAdams, Jr., a son, Michael Steven McAdams and wife Tammie Kimbrell McAdams, a daughter Sharon McAdams Michalak and husband, Allan Ray Michalak. Her grandchildren include Rachel Joy and husband Trevor, Ryan McAdams and fiancé Bethany Dalby, Brent Michalak and wife Chelsea, and Chase Michalak. She also is survived by seven great-grandchildren, Addison Joy, Benjamin Joy, Everett Joy, Annie Joy, Reese Michalak, Lane Michalak and Ivan Michalak.

Services for Mrs. McAdams will be held at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Brenham on April 5, 2019 at 11 A.M. Burial will follow in Prairie Lea Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Memorial Oaks Chapel on Thursday, April 4, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 7 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Brenham or Hospice Brazos Valley.
