Callie Faye Harville Yarbrough, 77, widow of James H. Yarbrough, passed away May 21, 2011, at her residence in Dayton. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at Foehner Funeral Home in Burton. Interment will follow in White Union Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at Foehner Funeral Home. Callie Faye Yarbrough was born May 2, 1934 in Leesville, La. to Alfred Ray and Minnie Nash Harville. A homemaker, Callie loved her dogs, and enjoyed being with her husband. Together they worked cattle and tended their garden. Taking care of others brought her great joy. She loved to travel. Callie had a special connection with her great-granddaughter. She loved gospel music, and her Louisiana roots made her fond of Zydeco music. Last but not least, her family was so important to her. Survivors include sons and their spouses, Jimmie Yarbrough, Wayne Yarbrough, Eddie Yarbrough, and Donnie Yarbrough, all of Alabama; daughter, Patricia Smith and husband Raymond of Shepherd, Tx.; sisters Glenda Harville and Adele Hayes, as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; daughter, Debra Pope; 2 sons, Kenneth Ray Driver and John Wayne Yarbrough, and a brother, Alfred Harville, Jr. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. They are William Earl Pope, Raymond Ray Smith, Jr., Joseph Ray Smith, Joe Allen Smith, Randy Mathew Smith, and Joel Zachary Johnson.
