Cammie Lanae Ganske, 49, passed away August 14, 2019 in Brenham.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, August 18, 2019 at Salem Lutheran Church, with Pastor Charles Parnell officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Oaks Chapel.

Cammie Lanae Ganske was born August 20, 1969 in Brenham to Jerry Lee and Carolyn Faye (Mueller) Warmke. She was baptized October 19, 1969 at Salem Lutheran Church, where she was confirmed March 27, 1983. On July 23, 1988, she married Michael James Ganske at Salem Lutheran Church.

Cammie was a 1987 graduate of Brenham High School, and a 1989 graduate of Blinn College, where she received an associate’s degree in Applied Science in General Business. She was employed at Germania Insurance beginning June 15, 1989, and became a Senior Underwriter.

She was active in her church, Salem Lutheran Church, where she served as a Sunday School teacher, Sunday School superintendent, church usher, and greeter. She was a member of various committees, including Memorial Fund, Visiting, Stewardship, Parish Education, and Evangelism, as well as being active on the church council.

Cammie was also active in her local community, as part of the Washington Co. Fair Sales Committee and the Poultry Committee.

She thoroughly treasured time spent with her family and friends on cruises, road trips, dinner and drinks, and book club meetings. She also enjoyed an occasional pedicure.

Survivors include her husband, Michael James Ganske; daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Chase Wilson; brother and sister-in-law, Cabin and Missie Warmke; mother, Carolyn Warmke; grandson: Collin Wilson; sister-in-law, Pam Zibilski; mother-in-law Shirley Ganske; nieces: Hanna Warmke and Justin Schroeder; Laura Zibilski; nephews: Payton Warmke and fiancé Brooke Young; Caden Warmke and Daylon Drews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Warmke and father-in-law, James Ganske.

Serving as pallbearers are Anthony Cargill, Russell Engeling, Dennis Aschenbeck, Lenny Krause, Caden Warmke, Payton Warmke, Hayden Hancock, Dillon Hagemann, and Robert Winkelmann. Honorary pallbearers are Lisa Cargill, Sheila Hagemann, Wendy Hancock, Candace Kenjura, Becky Winkelmann, Sandra Cegelski, Hanna Warmke, Devyn Hagemann, and Ashley Weiss.

Memorials may be directed to Salem Lutheran Church Worship and Cemetery Fund.
