Carolyn Aldridge

Carolyn Peacock Aldridge, age 79, passed away peacefully in her sleep and went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on October 24, 2010. Carolyn, a Bible scholar, an elder and a lifelong Presbyterian, is preceded in death by her husband, Sonny Aldridge in 2004. She is survived by her 3 children: Kathryn Aldridge of Gardnerville, Nevada, Mike Aldridge of Houston, and Bill Aldridge and wife Candy of Houston; 1 granddaughter, Shellie Aldridge Haas and husband James, 2 great-granddaughters: Cassidy and Sierra Haas; brother Bob Peacock and wife Martha of Waco, and nieces Rachel and Whitney. Burial will be Thursday, Oct. 28, 2 pm at Oak Rest Cemetery, north of Brenham. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 1:30 pm preceding the procession to the gravesite. Memorial Service will be held Friday, Oct. 29, 1 pm at Grace Presbyterian Church, 10221 Ella Lee Lane, Houston, Tex. The family expresses deep gratitude to the staff of Colonial Oaks Braeswood, Susan Reed of Kelsey Seybold and Diane Sauder for their blessed care for her.
