Carolyn Campbell

Carolyn Viola Campbell, 70, of Brenham passed away on December, 18, 2022.  A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 22, 2022.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 23, 2022 at Memorial Oaks Chapel with Pastor Ross Shelton officiating.

Carolyn was born on December 30, 1951 in Wharton, TX to parents Frank William Bender and Audrey Louise James.  She was married October 21, 1984 in Kingman, AZ to Don Campbell.  She loved helping and caring for special needs children during her 22 years as a LVN at Brenham State Supported Living Center.  Previously, she also served as a reserve deputy for Mohave County, AZ for 4 years.

She is survived by her husband, Don Campbell;  her children and their spouses, Rod Campbell of Kingman, AZ, Jeff and Debbie Campbell of Kingman, AZ., Shelly and Ted De Young of San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico, Steve and Jenny Campbell of Kingman, AZ, Patrick Wallace and Angie of Garland, TX, Clayton Wallace and special friend, Tammy Gehovak of Brenham;  numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; her brother Rickie F. Bender and fiancé Carol Jarvis of Temple, TX;   special family friend, Rosalie Johnson and numerous cousins and other relatives.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Sweetheart Program of the Elks Lodge #979 or charity of choice.
