Cecilia Lindemann

Cecilia “Skip” Lindemann, 74, wife of Dewayne Lindemann, died April 26, 2017 in her residence in Burton.

A private Memorial Service was held Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Memorial Oaks Chapel, with Pastor Skip Stutts officiating.

“Skip” Lindemann was born November 2, 1942 in Sugar Land to Stanley and Verna Gregory Trojanowski. She was employed as a data entry clerk for Lowe’s.

Taking random road trips, sister trips, and visiting historical sites were favorite pastimes. She also took trips to Louisiana for “games of chance”. A sports fan, Skip followed local high school baseball games, and took an interest in auto racing. She treasured time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Dewayne Lindemann of Burton; son, Steve Lindemann and special friend, Trisha of Burton; daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and John Parada of Clute; sisters and brothers-in-law Vernie and David Chernosky, Marie Hough and Mark Hyde, Cathy and Murry Straznicky, Betty Jean and Louis Engelhardt, and Rosa Lee McIntosh; sister-in-law, Carolyn Trojanowski; grandchildren: Amber Eldridge, Ashlee Eldridge, C.J., and Crissy; great-grandchildren Kayla Workman and Macie Murphy.

Other surviving relatives include Gene and Rusty Laired, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Mrs. Lindemann was preceded in death by her parents, as well as relatives Pam Eldridge, Edmund and Lilly Lindemann, Beverly Laired, and Charles Trojanowski.

Memorials may be directed to Hospice Brazos Valley or any favorite charity.
