Charles Graham Lacy, 63, of Brenham, passed away March 14, 2013 at his residence. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Sunday, March 17, 2012 at Memorial Oaks Chapel, with Glenn Gaines officiating. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Saturday evening at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Charles Lacy was born February 1, 1950 in Vernon, Texas to Seth Graham and Gladys June Lacy. He was baptized in 1950 at First United Methodist Church in Big Spring, and confirmed there in 1962. A 1968 graduate of Big Spring High School, he received a B.S. degree in Industry and Technology from Texas A&M University-Commerce. Charles and Cynthia were married April 12, 1969 in Big Spring. He was employed as a draftsman with Vulcan Steel. Charles was a member of the Texas Farm Bureau, the National Rifle Association, US Bowling Congress, PADI Diving Society, and the Diver''s Alert Network. Hobbies included bowling, scuba diving, and working on his property. He especially treasured time spent with his family. Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Lacy; mother, June Lacy of Garland, daughter and son-in-law Diana Dawn and Charles Edward Terry of Euless; grandson, Dillon Graham Terry; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Margaret Hickson; brothers and sisters-in-law James and Cathy Lacy of Arlington, and Robert and Pam Lacy of Arlington; sister, Joyce Spencer of Garland; special daughters Kim Milder of Richmond, Brenda Duckworth of Happy, Tx. and Annette Taylor of Plano, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. His father, Seth Lacy, and a granddaughter, Lacy Kaye Terry, preceded him in death. Per Charles'' request, memorials may be directed to a special fund at Brenham National Bank, 2211 S. Day St., Brenham, Tx. 77833, for Mr. Lacy''s grandson, Dillon Terry, for continuous rehabilitation for a traumatic brain injury. Checks may be made out to Dillon Terry Fund.
