Charles Charlie Randermann, 77, of Brenham, passed away peacefully at his home July 3, 2003. Mr. Randermann was born June 2, 1926, the son of Henry Sr. and Minnie Boerninghaus Randermann of the Kuykendall Community in Washington County. He was baptized into the Christian faith on October 7, 1926 and was confirmed on March 29, 1942 at Sandy Hill Church. He attended the Kuykendall schools and later Blinn College. Mr. Randermann was a veteran of World War II, serving in the US Army in the Philippines. On June 26, 1949, he married Mary E. Rosenbaum, at Zionsville Church. Family friend, Reverend R. J. Weber performed the ceremony. The devotion and love of his wife of fifty-four years is an example to all. Mr. Randermann worked as a foreman and truck driver at the Brenham Oil Mill. He and his wife served the community through their operation of Tonn s Store, and later through their ownership of C& M Grocery on HWY 290. He went on to retire from Washington County Road and Bridge. He also served as the Funeral Chairman and member of church council at Zionsville for numerous years. He was dedicated to his family, which he loved very much. He loved sharing fishing and hunting trips with them, and was a faithful fan at their baseball games. He enjoyed gardening and going to dances with his wife. His family will greatly miss his presence. Survivors include his devoted wife, Mary Randermann of Brenham; sons, Bruce Randermann of Brenham; Michael & Cindy Randermann of Brenham; grandchildren, Jerry & Megan Almaraz, Andrew Randermann, Orry Randermann, Amanda Randermann, Rinn Randermann, all of Brenham; great-grandchild Isaac Almaraz of Brenham. sister, Rosa Lee Sommers of Brenham; sister-in-law, Lorene Randermann of Brenham, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and one sister. Pallbearers will be Andrew Randermann, Orry Randermann, Rinn Randermann, Jerry Almaraz, J. W. Jankowski, and Brian Fritz. Honorary pallbearers will be Gambro Heathcare, Brazos Valley Hospice, and Washington County Road and Bridge. Memorials may be made to Brazos Valley Hospice, Gambro Healthcare and St. Paul s Evangelical Lutheran Church. Funeral services for Charles Charlie Randermann will be held 1:30 P.M. Sunday, July 6, 2003 at St. Paul s Evengelical Lutheran Church in Brenham with Reverend Kim Little-Brooks officiating. Burial to follow in Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham. The Family will receive visitors Saturday, July 5, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. in Memorial Oaks Chapel. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 West Main Street in Brenham.
