Charleston Warren Bartlett Hink of Chappell Hill, TX passed away after a lengthy illness at the age of 45 on June 24, 2015 in Scott and White Hospital, College Station, TX. Warren was born on August 26, 1969 in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, England. He was a loving and caring husband, son, grandson, brother and uncle. He is survived by his wife Tina Ross Hink, of London England, his parents Fred and Helen Hink of Chappell Hill, TX, his grandmother Mary Alexander Bartlett of Brenham, TX, his brother Geoffrey Hink of Chappell Hill, his brother Fred B. Hink and his wife Kirsten A. Hink, his niece Christina M. Hink and his nephew Harrison A. Hink all of Houston, TX. And many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was proceeded in death by his grandparents Burton and Bernice Hink and Grandfather Bennett Boykin Bartlett. Mom and dad decided that it was time to get the family back to Texas and they settled in the Memorial area of Houston. Warren begin his schooling in the Spring Branch ISD. The boys, as the brothers were called, gathered the neighborhood friends and schoolmates in the backyard for endless hours on the trampoline and shooting basketball in the driveway and the huge football games at the across the street neighbors. Warren excelled in track, setting records in both the 400 and 800 meter at Episcopal High School in Houston and then graduated from Calallen High School in Corpus Christi, TX. After attending Southwest Texas State University he proudly served in the U.S. Coast Guard. He held his real estate license, practicing throughout southeast Texas. Wanting an occupation that reflected his love of the outdoors, he trained and worked in the directional drilling and utility construction industry. Warren held a deep love of country and was particularly proud that he shook Ronald Reagan''s hand at his first campaign stop in 1980 and then stood at the foot of the dais when the former president bid farewell at the 1992 Republican National Convention, both in Houston. He continued his involvement in politics, constantly volunteering where there was need. Warren was passionate about a great many things including politics, Bible study, the beach, and particularly anything involving Houston and Texas A&M sports. His diversity of interests and passions impacted his many friends, spread across the world, found wherever he parked his bags. Warren had a great love for animals and remembered every pet the family had with deep affection. His black lab Austin was his best friend for twelve years and he missed him so much. Warren never knew a stranger and his love of conversation will be missed. He is gone too soon and he has left a huge void in the heart of everyone that knew him. We will all remember him as the happy, bouncy blond headed kid that wanted to be in the middle of everything. Warren grew up in Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church in Houston and was confirmed in Jackson Woods Presbyterian Church in Corpus Christi. In the past several months he watched Charles Stanley on TV on Sunday morning and then called his grandmother, who was also watching, to have really long conversations about the sermon. This was a very special time for them. Our family would like to thank Dr. Jennifer Devoke, Michael Kuhn and Dr. Mark Richards for their kindness and the care they gave Warren. Also Dr. Wilmary Collado-Rodriguez and her staff in the ICU at Scott and White Hospital in College Station. We will never forget how much you cared.
