Charlotte Diane Deere, 62, of Brenham, died August 25, 2010 in St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan. Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 29, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel with Pastor Mike Button officiating. Interment will be in Oak Knoll Cemetery in Bellville. The family will receive friends and relatives Sunday from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Charlotte was born March 7, 1948 in Bellville to Charles and Verna Lois Schulte Deere. She was a 1966 graduate of Bellville High School, and later attended business school in Houston. Charlotte was a hair stylist, and had recently opened her own shop, known as Shear Magic. She loved to dance, and loved the color purple. She attended Christ Lutheran Church in Brenham. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law Stephen and Leah Loesch of Temple, and Shawn and Allison Loesch of Round Rock; her mother, Verna Lois Deere of Bellville; a lifetime partner, Tim Hammock of Brenham; grandchildren: Hunter Loesch, Hailey Loesch, Trey Loesch, and a brother, Craig Deere of Austin. Charlotte''s father, Charles Deere, preceded her in death in 1979. Serving as pallbearers are Pete Miller, Grady Hetrick, Jason Deere and Brandon Deere. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society, or to your favorite charity. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 West Main, Brenham. 979836-4564.
