Christi Kuecker

Christi Marie Barr Kuecker, 36, of Chappell Hill, died March 5, 2005, at her residence. Ms. Kuecker was born August 15, 1968, in Grand Island, Nebraska, to Jimmy Dale and Patricia A. Ruzicka Barr. She was baptized in Grand Island, Nebraska and was educated in Grand Island and Brenham. Ms. Kuecker served in the Army and National Guard eight years. Ms. Kuecker was an outdoor person who loved to work in the yard with flowers, swimming, hunting, camping, fishing and barbecuing. She also loved to paint and helping anyone in need. Survivors include her daughter, Cassidy Marie Kuecker of Chappell Hill; mother, Patricia A. Barr of Chappell Hill; brother and sister-in-law, Eugene and Susan Elaine Barr of Fort Collins, Colorado; sister, Kimberly Dawn Barr of Brenham; nephew, Jadan Russell Barr of Fort Collins, Colorado; niece, Keli Sue Barr of Fort Collins, Colorado; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; special friends, Lisa Nease of Burton and Barbara Brown of Brenham; very special family friend, Harold Becker; and her special cat, Baxter. She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Dale Barr; sister, Cynthia Lynette Barr; grandparents, Louis F. Ruzicka, Mary M. Ruzicka and Minnie Boardmann; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 9 in Memorial Oaks Chapel with Rev. E. Glynn Ferguson officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham. The family will receive visitors from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 8 in Memorial Oaks Chapel. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Dreyer, David Dreyer, Ronnie Hot Shot Neutzler, Duane Ahrens, Jason Goerlitz, Brad Kuecker, Blake Kuecker and Mark Eickenhorst. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Ruzicka, John Ruzicka, Jim Ruzicka, Tom Ruzicka, Mark Ruzicka and Robert Brown. Memorials may be given to a charity of your choice.
