Christin Audrey Carroll Romero, 35, of Trinidad, Colorado, died June 10, 2010 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Mrs. Romero was born December 15, 1974, in Bryan, TX to Arthur Vane Carroll, Jr. and Judy Rogers Carroll. She was baptized into the Christian Faith on January 15, 1978 in Christ Lutheran Church in Brenham, and confirmed on June 7, 1987 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Greenvine. She graduated from Brenham High School. Survivors include her husband Joe Romero of Trinidad, Colorado; son, Kyle Braden Luhn of Brenham, Texas; stepmother, Kathryn Carroll of Burton; brother and sister-in-law, Clint and Sara Carroll of College Station; sister and brother-in-law, Kristina and Dennis Newton of Brenham; brother, Cody Carroll of Burton; nieces, Allison and Heather Carroll of College Station; grandfather, A. V. Carroll, Sr.; uncles: Chip Rogers, and Ronnie Carroll, aunt, Margie Mertz; aunt and uncle, Nina and Alfred Herrmann, Shelly and David Stevens, and numerous cousins and family relatives. She was preceded in death by her mother Judy Rogers Carroll; father, A. V. Carroll, Jr., grandparents Sallie and Ed Rogers, Rosa Lea Carroll, Albert and Sylvia Mertz, and cousin, Billy Wayne Carroll. The funeral service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 17, 2010 in Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Greenvine with Pastors Rich Nelson and Lawrence Bade officiating. Burial will be in the Latium Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Serving as pallbearers are Clint Carroll, Dennis Newton, Cody Carroll, Nora Estrada, Keith McGill, Tim Herrmann, Gary Herrmann and Tracy Herrmann.
