Christine Sweet

Christine Josephine Sweet, 86, of Houston, TX, died on November 14, 2020.

Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 19, 2020 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Everardo Cazares officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.

A visitation will be held at 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Memorial Oaks Chapel with the family present from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and a rosary at 7:00 p.m.

Mrs. Sweet was born on April 17, 1934 in Anderson, TX to Albert G. and Rosalie Gourne Berger. She was baptized at St. Stanislaus Church in Anderson, TX. She married the love of her life, Raymond Sweet.

Mrs. Sweet was a true music lover. She enjoyed being a decorator, great cook, party planner, and seamstress.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Daniel T. Bilski and wife Nickie M. of Brenham, TX; brother-in-law, Roman Kasowski of Ennis, TX; grandchildren, Kirk L. Bilski and Dusty K. Bilski; great-grandchildren, Morghan P. Bilski and Absidy P. Bilski; and nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Rosalie Berger; husband, Raymond Sweet; and twelve siblings.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Kirk Bilski, Dusty Bilski, Jonathan Majewski, Ronnie Kasowski, David Majewski, and Wade Bage.

Memorials may be directed to St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Brenham, TX.
