Cindy Mertz

Cindy Gail Kokemor Mertz, 43, of Brenham, died Oct. 3, 2012, at Bellville General Hospital in Bellville. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9 at St. John''s United Church of Christ in Burton with Rev. Glen Schoeneberg and Rev. Judy Sherman officiating. Ms. Mertz was born Dec. 17, 1968 in Brenham, Texas, to Clarence E. and Dollie Ann Schultz Kokemor. She was a graduate of Brenham High School and was a group home manager for D&S Residential Services. Survivors include her sons Christopher Kokemor and Blake Mertz and her parents Clarence and Dollie Schultz Kokemor, all of Brenham.
