Clarence E. Kokemor, 71, husband of Dollie Schultz Kokemor, died September 16, 2013 in Scott and White Hospital in Brenham. A Memorial Service will be held at 4 p.m., Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at St. John United Church of Christ in Burton, with Pastor Judy Sherman officiating. Clarence E. Kokemor was born August 10, 1942 in Burton to William August and Mamie Maass Kokemor. After graduating from Burton High School, he served his country in the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam era. On December 3, 1966, he was united in marriage with Dollie Schultz in La Grange. Clarence was employed in sales at Blue Bell Creameries. A member of St. John United Church of Christ, Clarence enjoyed fishing, especially with his grandson, Chris. He also passed time with friends at Felder''s Bye and Bye. Survivors include his wife, Dollie Kokemor of Brenham; grandchildren Christopher Kokemor and Blake Mertz; brother, Harvey Kokemor of Pennsylvania; sister-in-law Anne Schultz of La Grange, a brother-in-law, Robert Murski of Brenham, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Cindy Mertz, sister Ora Nell Murski, and two brothers, Elroy Kokemor and Milford Kokemor. Funeral arrangements for Clarence E.
