Clarence Wehmeyer was born November 27, 1935 in Brenham to Willie F. and Lillian Mueller Wehmeyer. He was baptized and confirmed at Salem Lutheran Church. He attended area schools, and graduated as valedictorian from Brenham High School. Clarence served his country in the U. S. Air Force. On January 12, 1957, he married Francies Landrum, who preceded him in death on November 27, 2003.

Clarence was employed in construction as a carpenter, enjoying his job, and exemplifying a strong work ethic and desire to always put forth his best effort. Kind and trustworthy, he always was there to help others in need. He never complained about life’s complications, even in the latter years of his life. Present at all of his great-grandchildren’s sporting events, he was very vocal about their performances, and treasured the time he spent with all of his family and friends.
