Clorinda Hoermann, 86, of Brenham, died March 16, 2005, in Bluebonnet Hills Care Center in Brenham. Mrs. Hoermann was born Sept. 12, 1918, in El Campo, Texas, to Oscar and Vera Anna Keng Ammann. She attended Brenham schools, Blinn College and the University of Texas. Mrs. Hoermann was an active member of First United Methodist Church in Brenham, where she was a member of theWesleyan Circle and the church choir. She was also a member of the Fortnightly Club. Mrs. Hoermann was a retired teacher and homemaker. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Cheryl Hoermann of Brenham; four grandchildren, Gary Scott Hoermann and wife Carine, Tammy Vera Hoermann, Jaclyn Reed and Sabrina Reed; and two great-grandchildren, Claudia Lynn Hoermann and Albrie Marie Reed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Vera Ammann; and husband, Leroy Hoermann, on Oct. 9, 1993. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 19 in First United Methodist Church in Brenham with Rev. Wesley Wellborn officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 18 in Memorial Oaks Chapel. Pallbearers will be Sammy Rooker, Rodney Keng, Julius J. Toman, Bron Milczewski, James Bassett and John Hollywood. Memorials may be given to First United Methodist Church in Brenham. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main St., in Brenham.
