Connie Christian Loving, 56, of Brenham, died at her residence Friday, August 13, 2004 after a long battle with cancer. She was born May 13, 1948 in Cottonwood, Idaho. Connie was baptized May 17, 1948 at St. Anthony s in Greencreek, Idaho and was confirmed in St. Mary s Catholic Church in Cottonwood, Idaho. After graduating from High School she went on to graduate from St. Alphonsus School of Nursing in 1969. She was married to Donald Loving on May 31, 2000 and worked as a Registered Nurse for Trinity Medical Center. Survivors include her husband, Donald Loving of Brenham, her mother, Dorothy Wemhoff Schmidt of Cottonwood, Idaho; two sons, Brian Christian of Dallas and Steve Christian and fiancée Clea Smith of Dallas; two stepdaughters and their husbands, Stacy and Mark Durham of Cypress, TX and Cheryl & Pete Munoz of Bryan, TX; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathy & Dick Sivey , Norma & Jim Haener, Carol and John Crockett, all of Boise, Idaho, Cheri & Pat Holthaus of Cottonwood, Idaho; four grandchildren, Jared & Kyle Durham of Cypress, TX and Gabriel and Michael Munoz of Bryan, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Virgil Victor Schmidt. A Funeral Mass for Connie Christian Loving will be offered at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 16, 2004 in St. Mary s Catholic Church of Brenham with Fr. Miguel Duarte as Celebrant. Visitation with the family present will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Brazos Valley Hospice of Brenham or St. Mary s Catholic Church in Brenham. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 West Main St., Brenham 979836-4564.
