Cordelia D. Lauter, 90, widow of Raymond Carl Lauter, died March 11, 2016 at Scott and White Hospital in Brenham.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, March 14, 2016 at Friedens United Church of Christ in Washington, with Rev. Greg Felder officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives Monday from 10 a.m. until 12 noon at Memorial Oaks Chapel.
Cordelia Lauter was born June 26, 1925 in Washington, Texas. After completing her education, she was employed by the Star of the Republic Museum in Washington. She was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ of Washington.
Survivors include her son, Ray Lauter of Washington, and grandchildren Carson Ray Lauter and Alexandria Sydney Whisnant. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Carl Lauter; sisters Erna Koester and Lillian Grube; brothers Walter Dickshat, Herbert Dickshat, Charlie Dickshat, Jr. Joe Dickshat, and Fritz Dickshat
