Funeral services for Curt Gregory "Frog" Cowart, 53, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Burial will be in the Germania Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 noon until 2:00 p.m. service time at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Greg died December 3, 2014 in Brenham at the age of 53. Greg was born June 6, 1961 in Brenham to Curtis Charles and Joann Boeker Cowart. Greg has always been a hard worker. He enjoyed working with cattle and loved fishing. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law Micheal and Amber Cowart of Brenham; daughter and son-in-law Holly and Brad Cheshire of College Station; grandmother, Edna Boeker of Brenham; brother Joel Cowart of Brenham, and step-brother, Marvin Stafford of Bryan; sisters Tammy Pearce of Weatherford, Toni Carr of Dallas, and step-sister Lori Emery and husband Dewayne of Bryan. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis Charles Cowart, his mother, Joann Boeker Stafford, grandmother Ruth Cowart, uncle, Ernest Boeker, nephew, Bobby Carr, cousin, Dale Turner, and his step-father. Pallbearers include Micheal Cowart, Bradley Cheshire, James Pearce, Joshua Gillespie, Kenneth Brooks Helmer and Eddie Briscoe. Honorary pallbearers include Drew Pearce, Reggie Carr, Austin Carr and Daniel Wilson. At the family''s request, memorials may be given to Miracle Farm, 10802 FM 2621, Brenham, TX 77833-0164.
