David Baker

Graveside services were held for David Allan Baker of Sugar Land, Tx. in Prairie Lea Cemetery, Brenham on Wednesday, December 7, 2011. David was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on Dec. 29, 1962. In his lifetime he lived in Denver, Co., Bakersfield, CA., Richardson, TX. and Houston, TX. David graduated from Elsik High School in Alief, Tx. in 1981 and attended Blinn College in Brenham, and graduated from Southwest Texas University in San Marcos in December of 1986 with a BA in Accounting. David went to work for Union Oil of California, and later Chevron, in February 1987 as an accountant. He held several positions for those companies in the past 24 years. He is survived by his loving daughter, Calli Raine Baker; parents Ed and Barbara Baker; brother, Steve and wife Angie, and grandmother, Arline Bunker, all of Brenham, and nieces Ginny and husband Jason Boughter of Houston, Sarah and nephew James Baker of Brenham. A tree will be planted in a national forest to honor David''s memory.
